I have enjoyed training for and competing in a variety of running distances, triathlons, trail runs and strength competitions. I am excited to be a running coach and fitness instructor for U FIT and U RUN. I have a love for the outdoors and bringing recreation to all. Moving my body brings me joy!
Scott O’Connor
(Masters in Sports Administration - UNM)
I am pleased to be the lead running coach and race coordinator for United fitness. I have been competing in running since middle school and had the privilege to run as part of the Univeristy of Maine track and field team. I was a track and cross country coach for 10 years at a High school in New Mexico and at Anna HS. I have a love for helping athletes find success through their improvements in running. An important part of my training philosophy for all runners of all ages is to emphasize the importance of training the mind as an equal to training for the physician demands of running. I offer private coaching and look forward to leading U RUN.

My passion for fitness began as a way to improve my own health and I quickly became hooked on the transformative effects it had on my body and mind. I specialize in a holistic approach to fitness, focusing on strength training and cardiovascular health. I believe that a well-rounded approach to fitness is the key to achieving long-term results and overall well-being.
My training style is highly individualized, as I understand that each person has unique needs and goals. My goal as a trainer is to help my clients achieve their personal best, no matter their starting point. Whether you are looking to improve your overall fitness, build muscle, increase flexibility, or lose weight, I will work with you to create a personalized plan that fits your lifestyle and goals. I believe that consistency, motivation, and accountability are key to achieving success in any fitness program.
